Track Lois & Clark Fanfic on Goodreads or The StoryGraph
To track a Lois & Clark Fanfic Archive story, download it with WP Downloader and look for it on Goodreads or The StoryGraph. Many fanfiction stories are missing from these databases, so you can also keep a personal library of the EPUB files in calibre.
Download the story with WP Downloader
Copy the address of the story from lcfanfic.com. A story URL looks like this:
http://lcfanfic.com/stories/2017/html/a-story-name Then:
- Open the Lois & Clark Fanfic Archive downloader.
- Paste the story link into the box.
- Choose EPUB, which is free for everyone, or PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file to your device.
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install. It detects the site from the link and downloads the whole story. It cannot download individual chapters or story lists from this archive.
You do not need a Lois & Clark Fanfic Archive account. Support for the archive was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader.

Track the story on Goodreads
Search Goodreads for the story’s title and author. Most fanfiction and web serials are missing from its database, so you may not find a result.
If the story is listed, use the existing entry to track your reading. Check carefully before adding a new one because the title or author may be formatted differently.
If it is missing, Goodreads members with a verified email can add it manually at goodreads.com/book/new. Brand-new accounts cannot add books. You need at least the story’s title and author.
Use the details on the Lois & Clark Fanfic Archive story page instead of guessing. Goodreads librarians handle edits and merge duplicate records.
WP Downloader only creates the file for offline reading. It does not add the story to Goodreads or change your reading status.
Check The StoryGraph
Search The StoryGraph for the title and author. The story may be missing, especially if it is fanfiction rather than a published book.
The StoryGraph does not publish clear official instructions for adding works that are not books. If you cannot find the story, check its current help pages for guidance. Do not use a different work with a similar title, since it would make your reading record inaccurate.
Downloading a story with WP Downloader does not create or update a StoryGraph entry.
Keep a personal reading list in calibre
Calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can use it to keep a private library of your downloaded fanfiction.
After downloading an EPUB:
- Open calibre on your computer.
- Select Add books and choose the EPUB.
- Review or edit its title, author, cover, and other metadata.
- Keep the file in your calibre library as your personal record.
Calibre can open the story in its e-book viewer, which includes a Read aloud feature. It can also send books over USB to a connected e-reader.
You can convert files between formats, including from EPUB to AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. WP Downloader produces EPUB and PDF files, but it does not produce MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
A calibre library works well when a story is missing from Goodreads and The StoryGraph. It lets you keep the file and edit its metadata without waiting for a public database entry.
For help with a specific device, see how to send LCFanfic stories to Kindle or read LCFanfic stories on Kobo.
If the story changes later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. Download the whole story again when you want an updated copy.
You can then review the story’s calibre metadata or public tracking entry to make sure it matches the version you are reading.
