How to Track Questionable Questing Stories on Goodreads or StoryGraph

Saving a Questionable Questing story as an EPUB gives you a local copy to read and helps you identify its title and author when adding it to a reading tracker.

Track the story on StoryGraph

Search StoryGraph for the story first. Its database may already have an entry, though stories published as forum threads are often missing.

StoryGraph does not publish clear official instructions for adding works that are not books. If the story is absent, check its current help pages for the available options instead of guessing at the process or entering inaccurate details.

Keep a personal reading list in calibre

If neither service lists the story, you can keep it in calibre instead. calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Its library can serve as a personal catalog of the stories you download.

To add a story:

1. Open calibre and select Add books.
2. Choose the EPUB downloaded from WP Downloader.
3. Edit the metadata or cover if needed.
4. Open it in calibre’s e-book viewer, or send it to a connected e-reader over USB.

calibre can convert an EPUB to formats such as AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. WP Downloader produces EPUB and PDF files, but it does not produce MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

The calibre e-book viewer also has a Read aloud feature. Keeping your EPUB files in one calibre library gives you a record of the stories you have saved, including those without entries on Goodreads or StoryGraph.
