How to Add Tenhawk Presents Stories to Your Calibre Library

Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Tenhawk Presents downloader. Copy the address of the story from t.evancurrie.ca and paste it into the downloader box.
A Tenhawk Presents story address looks like this:

Choose EPUB to get a file you can add directly to calibre. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can choose whether to include the story’s images. PDF is also available with a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is a practical starting point for a calibre library because calibre can read and convert it.
You do not need to sign in to download public stories. If a story is available only to site members, you can sign in with your Tenhawk Presents account. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you request and can download only content that your account is allowed to read. It does not bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

Add the EPUB to your calibre library
calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. After the EPUB finishes downloading, open calibre and select “Add books.” Choose the EPUB file from your computer.
The story will appear in your calibre library. You can now read or organize it, edit its details, convert it, or copy it to a connected e-reader.
Keep the original EPUB in calibre as a master copy. If you later need another format for a device, calibre can create it from the EPUB.
Edit the story details and cover
After adding the story, check its metadata and cover. calibre lets you edit both, which can make a large fanfiction library easier to browse.
You can correct or standardize the displayed title and other available details, or replace the cover with another image. These changes affect only the copy in calibre. They do not alter the story on Tenhawk Presents.
If you keep many downloaded stories, choose a consistent way to display their titles and other details. Apply the same pattern as you add new files.
Read the story in calibre
Open the book in calibre’s e-book viewer to read it on your computer. The viewer supports EPUB files, so you do not need to convert the book first.
The viewer also has a “Read aloud” feature for listening to the story while keeping the same EPUB in your library.
Because the file is stored on your computer, you can open it without returning to the Tenhawk Presents website.
Convert the story for another device
WP Downloader creates EPUB and PDF files. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
If your device needs another format, calibre can convert the EPUB to AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. Keep the EPUB in your library so that you have the original download alongside any versions made for a particular device.
Converting the file does not change which content your account can access. It cannot unlock chapters or other material that was unavailable when WP Downloader created the book.
Transfer the book to an e-reader
Connect your e-reader to the computer by USB. Select the story in calibre, use the appropriate send-to-device option, and choose a format supported by your reader.

Update a story when new chapters appear
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When a Tenhawk Presents story is updated, download the whole story again.
Add the new EPUB to calibre, then decide whether to keep or remove the older copy. Check the book details first so that you can tell the new download apart from the previous one.
