How to Put Missing Pieces Stories on a Kindle with Calibre

Step 1: Download the story with WP Downloader

Step 2: Add the EPUB to calibre

Step 4: Connect your Kindle over USB

Connect your Kindle to the computer with USB. Once calibre recognizes it, select the converted story and choose Send to device.

Calibre will copy the book directly to the Kindle. You do not need to upload it through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service.

Why use calibre?

Calibre can convert the downloaded EPUB to AZW3 and send it to a connected Kindle. It also keeps the EPUB in your local library, where you can edit its metadata and cover, convert it to another format, or read it on your computer.

Kindles can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB. Amazon stopped accepting MOBI through Send to Kindle, but compatible MOBI files can still be transferred directly over USB.

Updating a story later
