How to Put a Wattpad Story on a Kindle With Calibre
You can put a Wattpad story on a Kindle without Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Download the story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, convert it to AZW3 in calibre, then transfer it to your Kindle over USB.

This method lets you manage the book on your computer and copy it directly to your Kindle.
Step 1: Download the Wattpad story as an EPUB
Open the Wattpad downloader and paste the story URL into the box. A Wattpad story link usually looks like this:

You do not need an account for public Wattpad stories. If you sign in with your Wattpad account, you can also download paid stories your account owns and stories from your library or archive. WP Downloader can only access content your account can already read. It does not bypass paid access, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
You can download a complete Wattpad story, a single part, or an entire reading list. Download the story or part you want and save the EPUB to your computer.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files. You will use calibre to convert the EPUB.
Step 2: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre and select “Add books” to add the EPUB you downloaded. The story will appear in your calibre library.
You can edit its metadata or cover before converting it. If you do not need to make any changes, continue to the next step.
Step 3: Convert the EPUB to AZW3
Select the Wattpad story in your calibre library and choose the conversion option. Set AZW3 as the output format.
AZW3 is a Kindle format that you can transfer over USB. calibre can also convert EPUB files to MOBI or PDF, but AZW3 works for this method.
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI. Kindle e-readers can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB, since the restriction applies only to the Send to Kindle service.
Step 4: Connect your Kindle and send the book
Connect your Kindle e-reader to your computer over USB. Select the converted story in calibre and use “Send to device.”
calibre will transfer the converted file to your Kindle. You can then open the story on the e-reader without using Send to Kindle.
