Add the EPUB to Apple Books on iPhone or iPad

You can import the downloaded file from Safari or the Files app.

From Safari’s downloads

1. Open Safari’s downloads.
2. Tap the downloaded EPUB.
3. Tap the Share button.
4. Choose Books.

The file will open in Apple Books and appear in your Library.

From the Files app

1. Open the Files app.
2. Find the downloaded EPUB.
3. Open the file or tap the Share button.
4. Choose Books.

After the import finishes, open Apple Books and find the story in your Library.

Add the EPUB to Apple Books on Mac

Wait for the EPUB to finish downloading, then import it in either of these ways:

• Open the Books app and drag the EPUB into it.
• In Books, choose File, then Add to Library, and select the EPUB.

The story will appear in your Library. Apple Books can also open a PDF if you chose that format.
