How to Read Ashwinder Stories Offline on a Flight

Download the Ashwinder story before your flight and save it to the device or reading app you plan to use. Once the EPUB or PDF is on your device, you can open it without an internet connection.

Download the Ashwinder story before your flight

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install. While you have internet access, open the Ashwinder downloader and copy the story link.

An Ashwinder story link looks like this:

Paste the link into WP Downloader. It detects that the link is from Ashwinder and downloads the whole story. You cannot download individual chapters or story lists from this site.

Choose a format:

• EPUB is free for everyone and can be used with EPUB reading apps, Kindle, and Kobo.
• PDF requires a free Discord sign-in and can be opened with a PDF reader.
• Select the image option if you want to include the story’s images.

You do not need an Ashwinder account for public stories. If a story is available only to members, you can sign in with your account on that site. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can access only material your account is allowed to read and cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

Support for Ashwinder was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0.

Put the file on the device you will use

Make sure the finished EPUB or PDF is stored on the phone, tablet, e-reader, or reading app you will take on the flight.

Open the file once before you leave to confirm that the download or transfer is complete.

Phone or tablet

Choose the format that works with your reading app:

• Open the EPUB in an EPUB reading app.
• Open the PDF in a PDF reader.
• Send the EPUB or PDF through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service to use it in the Kindle app.

Confirm that the download has finished and that you can find and open the file on your device.

Kindle e-reader or Kindle app

Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts EPUB and PDF files. You can deliver the file by emailing it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address, using the Send to Kindle app, or using the Send to Kindle website.

Amazon converts EPUB files and adds the books to your Kindle library. They can then appear on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. Delivery requires an internet connection, so send the story before your flight and wait for it to appear on the device you are taking.

When sending a file by email, use an address on your approved sender list. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files. WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files.

Kobo

Download the story as an EPUB and transfer it to your Kobo before the flight. Open the story on the device to make sure it is ready.

Test the book in airplane mode

Check the book before you leave:

1. Finish downloading the EPUB or PDF.
2. Move or send it to the device and app you plan to use.
3. Open the story and confirm that it loads.
4. Turn on airplane mode.
5. Close and reopen the book while airplane mode is still on.

If the story does not reopen, reconnect to the internet and complete the download, Kindle delivery, or device transfer before testing it again.

WP Downloader does not add new Ashwinder chapters to an existing EPUB. Download the whole story again before your trip if you want the latest available chapters.

Can I read an Ashwinder story with no Wi-Fi?

Yes. You can open the story without an internet connection once the EPUB or PDF is downloaded and stored on your device.

Which format should I use for a flight?
