Read an Ashwinder Story on a reMarkable Tablet

To read an Ashwinder story on a reMarkable tablet, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and transfer the file through a reMarkable app, a web browser, or USB. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.

Download the Ashwinder story

Find the story on ashwinder.sycophanthex.com. Its address should look like this:

Copy the complete story URL and follow these steps:

1. Open the Ashwinder downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Sign in to your Ashwinder account if the story is available only to members. You can skip this step for public stories.
4. Choose EPUB or PDF.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the file to your phone or computer.

EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. reMarkable tablets support both formats for files up to 100 MB.

Use the reMarkable desktop app

If the file is on your computer, open the reMarkable desktop app and add the EPUB or PDF. After it transfers, open the document on your tablet.

Use the reMarkable mobile app

If the file is on your phone, add it through the reMarkable mobile app. Select the downloaded EPUB or PDF, transfer it, and open it on your tablet.

Be sure to select the book file from your downloads, not the original Ashwinder link.

Upload it from a web browser

You can upload the EPUB or PDF using reMarkable’s browser-based transfer option. Open it on the computer or phone that holds the file, upload the document, and wait for it to appear on your tablet.

You do not need to connect the tablet with a cable for this method.

Transfer it over USB

Connect the reMarkable tablet to your computer with a USB cable. Turn on the USB web interface in the tablet’s storage settings, then open this address in a browser on the connected computer:

Use the page to upload the Ashwinder EPUB or PDF. The exact path to the USB web interface setting can vary between reMarkable software versions.

Open the story and read offline

When the transfer is complete, find the imported document on your reMarkable and open it. The EPUB or PDF is stored on the tablet, so you can read it without returning to the Ashwinder website.

If the author adds more chapters, download the story again with WP Downloader and transfer the new file. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB that you have already downloaded.
