How to Read Chireads Stories in the Kindle App
To read a Chireads story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is free and works in your browser, so there is nothing to install.
Step 1: Copy the Chireads story link
Open the story on chireads.com and copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. Chireads story links follow this general pattern:
https://chireads.com/category/translatedtales/story-nameCopy the whole story’s link, since WP Downloader does not support individual chapters or story lists from Chireads.
Chireads stories are in French. You do not need to sign in to download them.
Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Chireads downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will recognize the Chireads link and prepare the story.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and works with Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
The download contains the whole available story in one file. If the author publishes more chapters later, download the story again to make a new EPUB. WPD cannot add chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to your Kindle library
Once the EPUB is saved on your phone, tablet, or computer, send it to Kindle in any of these ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
- Share or upload it through the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your personal Send-to-Kindle address.
Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and PDF files. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library, making it available on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app.
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender address. Amazon will not deliver a file sent from an unapproved address to your Kindle library.
WP Downloader does not make MOBI or AZW3 files, and neither format is needed here. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files.

Step 4: Open the story in the Kindle app
Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and find the converted story in your library. Tap it to start reading.
Downloading the EPUB with WP Downloader does not put it in your Kindle library automatically. You need to send it through Send to Kindle first.
If the story does not appear, check that you uploaded the correct EPUB. For email transfers, confirm that you used your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address and sent the message from an approved email account.
EPUB or PDF for the Kindle app?
WP Downloader provides EPUB files free to everyone. PDF is available with a free Discord sign-in. Amazon accepts both formats through Send to Kindle.
EPUB is the simpler choice for this guide because Amazon converts it and adds the book to your Kindle library. Choose PDF only if you prefer that format.
