How to Read Fiction.live Stories on a Barnes & Noble NOOK
To read a Fiction.live story on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK over USB. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.” The story will then be available to read offline.

Step 1: Download the Fiction.live story as an EPUB
Open the Fiction.live downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect that the link comes from Fiction.live and download the whole story.
Choose EPUB for your NOOK. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. PDF is also available with a free Discord sign-in, but this guide uses EPUB.
Select the option to include images if you want the story’s pictures in the book.

Step 2: Connect the NOOK to your computer
Connect your NOOK to the computer with a USB cable.
A NOOK GlowLight should appear on the computer as a drive named “NOOK.” Open it as you would any other connected drive.
On newer NOOK models, enable file transfers after connecting the cable:
- Swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen.
- Tap “USB for charging.”
- Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”
The NOOK should then appear on your computer.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB to the NOOK
Find the EPUB that WP Downloader created, then drag or copy it onto the NOOK drive.
Wait for the transfer to finish, then eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging the USB cable. You can now disconnect the cable and open the story on your NOOK.
Reading updated chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. When the Fiction.live story is updated, return to the Fiction.live downloader and download the whole story again.
Transfer the new EPUB to your NOOK using the same USB steps.
