How to read a Fiction.live story on a tolino eReader
To read a Fiction.live story on a tolino eReader, use WP Downloader to save it as an EPUB, then copy the file to the Books folder on your tolino with a USB-C cable. WP Downloader is a free browser-based tool, so there is nothing to install.
Download the Fiction.live story as an EPUB
Open the Fiction.live downloader on your phone or computer. You can also paste the story link into the box on the WP Downloader home page, which will detect that the link comes from Fiction.live.
A Fiction.live story link usually looks like this:

Choose EPUB, the format supported by tolino eReaders. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images. WP Downloader can create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in, but this guide uses EPUB.
For Fiction.live, WP Downloader saves the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a story list. If the author adds more chapters, download the story again to create a new EPUB with the latest available version. WPD cannot add those chapters to an EPUB you already have.

Move the EPUB to your tolino eReader
After the EPUB has downloaded to your computer, connect your tolino eReader with its USB-C cable.
Wait for the computer to detect the reader. The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers, so your computer may display the reader as a connected device whose folders you can browse.
Copy the story into the Books folder
Open the tolino’s storage and find the Books folder. Copy or move the EPUB from WP Downloader into that folder.
- Connect the tolino to your computer with a USB-C cable.
- Open the tolino device or drive after the computer detects it.
- Open the Books folder.
- Copy the Fiction.live EPUB into the folder.
- Wait for the file to finish copying.
- Disconnect the reader after the transfer is complete.
Do not unplug the tolino while the file is copying. An interrupted transfer can leave the file incomplete.
The tolino cloud is for purchased books. Use USB-C to transfer the EPUB created with WP Downloader.
Open the story on your tolino
Once the transfer is complete, disconnect the tolino and open the EPUB on the reader. You can then read the Fiction.live story without returning to its webpage.

Transfer tips
Download the story again when you want newly published chapters. WP Downloader creates a fresh EPUB instead of updating the copy on your tolino.
