How to Read GoodNovel Stories on Android
WP Downloader lets you save the free chapters of a GoodNovel story as an EPUB or PDF, which you can then open on an Android phone or tablet. It is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the GoodNovel story
Find the story on goodnovel.com and copy its page address. A GoodNovel story link looks like this:

- Open the GoodNovel Downloader in your browser.
- Paste the story link into the box.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Select EPUB or PDF.
- Download the file to your device.
EPUB is free for everyone. Downloading a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. You do not need to sign in to GoodNovel.
WP Downloader downloads GoodNovel stories as whole books, so it cannot download one chapter or a list of stories. The file includes only the free chapters. Paid chapters are left out, and the tool does not buy or unlock them.

Choose EPUB or PDF
EPUB works with Google Play Books and Android EPUB readers such as Moon+ Reader.
Google Play Books can also open uploaded DRM-free PDF files. A PDF download from WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
Read the EPUB in Google Play Books
Google Play Books lets you upload DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. You can read them on Android, on the web, or on an iPhone or iPad.
You can upload the downloaded story through the Google Play Books website from your computer or Google Drive. You can also upload it from the Google Play Books app on your Android device.
After the upload finishes, open Google Play Books on your phone or tablet and select the story from your library.
Very large files may exceed Google’s upload limit. If the upload fails, try opening the EPUB directly in another Android reader.
Open the story in Moon+ Reader
Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files on Android. Download the story as an EPUB, then open the file with the app.
Moon+ Reader also has a built-in text-to-speech mode. It reads the story using the voices installed on your device.
Listen to the EPUB on Android
You can use Android’s accessibility tools or an EPUB reader with a read-aloud feature.
Use Android’s Select to Speak
Turn on Select to Speak under Accessibility in your device’s Settings. You can then tap items on the screen to hear them read aloud.
The sound depends on the text-to-speech voices installed on your phone or tablet.
Use Moon+ Reader
Open the downloaded EPUB in Moon+ Reader, then use its built-in text-to-speech mode.
Use @Voice Aloud Reader
@Voice Aloud Reader can open and read EPUB files aloud on Android. It uses the text-to-speech voices installed on your device.
Get newly published chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When more free chapters become available, return to the GoodNovel Downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.

Can I download paid GoodNovel chapters?
No. WP Downloader includes only chapters that are free to read. It does not buy content or bypass locked chapters, paywalls, or other restrictions.
Do I need a GoodNovel account?
No. You do not need to sign in to GoodNovel.
Should I choose EPUB or PDF for Android?
EPUB works with apps such as Google Play Books and Moon+ Reader. Google Play Books also accepts DRM-free PDF files.
