How to Read GoodNovel Stories on a PocketBook E-Reader

To read a GoodNovel story on a PocketBook e-reader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and transfer the file by email or USB. You can then keep the ebook on your PocketBook and read it offline.

What you need

Have these ready:

• The GoodNovel story page open on your phone or computer
• Access to the free GoodNovel Downloader
• Your PocketBook e-reader
• An email account or USB cable

WP Downloader downloads whole GoodNovel stories, not individual chapters or reading lists. The downloaded file contains the free chapters. Paid chapters are left out because the tool does not buy or unlock them.

Step 1: Download the GoodNovel story

Open the GoodNovel Downloader in your browser. WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install.

1. Copy the GoodNovel story link.
2. Paste it into the box on WP Downloader.
3. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
4. Download the story as an EPUB.

PocketBook supports EPUB directly. WP Downloader can also create a PDF, but that format requires a free Discord sign-in.

You do not need to sign in to GoodNovel. The downloaded file will contain the story’s free chapters.

Step 2: Set up Send-to-PocketBook

Send-to-PocketBook gives your reader its own email address. After activating it, you can email the EPUB to that address and sync your device.

On your PocketBook:

1. Open Settings.
2. Open Accounts and synchronization.
3. Select Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and complete the activation process.
5. Open the activation email.

You will receive a personal Send-to-PocketBook address ending in @pbsync.com.

Step 3: Email the EPUB to your PocketBook

Create an email from your usual account and send it to your @pbsync.com address with the downloaded EPUB attached.

Sync your PocketBook to receive the file. If it does not arrive, check whether your sending address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address before accepting files from it.

After the transfer and sync finish, open the EPUB on your PocketBook to read the downloaded GoodNovel chapters offline.

Transfer the story over USB

You can also connect your PocketBook to your computer with a USB cable. Copy the downloaded EPUB or PDF to the reader, wait for the transfer to finish, and then disconnect it.

USB is useful if you have not set up a @pbsync.com address or the emailed book does not reach your reader.

Get newly released chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. If GoodNovel releases more free chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

The new file will contain the free chapters available when you download it. Paid chapters will still be left out.
