How to Read an Inkitt Story in the Kindle App
To read an Inkitt story in the Kindle app, download the story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.

- Access to Amazon’s Send to Kindle service
An Inkitt story link looks like this:
https://www.inkitt.com/stories/202117WP Downloader downloads the whole story, not individual chapters. It can only access content that your Inkitt account can already read and does not bypass locked chapters, paywalls, or age restrictions.
Step 1: Download the Inkitt story as an EPUB
Open the Inkitt downloader in your browser and paste the story link into the box.
WP Downloader recognizes the Inkitt link and asks you to sign in with your Inkitt account. It uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone, and Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts it. You can also choose to include the story’s images in the downloaded book.
WP Downloader can create a PDF as well, but that format requires a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is a simple choice when you plan to read the story in the Kindle app.
WPD does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. MOBI is not needed because Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and no longer accepts MOBI.

Step 2: Send the EPUB to your Kindle library
Once the EPUB has downloaded, send it to Amazon in one of these ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. It will then be available in the Kindle app and on Kindle e-readers.
If you send the file by email, you must use an approved sender email address. Amazon will not accept messages from unapproved addresses.

Step 3: Open the story in the Kindle app
Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and go to your library. Find the Inkitt story you sent and open it.
Amazon converts the EPUB before adding it to your library, so you can open the story as a book in the Kindle app.
Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. If the author publishes more chapters, return to the Inkitt downloader and download the whole story again.
Send the new EPUB to your Kindle library using the same method as before.
