How to Read SquidgeWorld Archive Stories in KOReader
To read a SquidgeWorld Archive story in KOReader, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, copy the file to your device, and open it from KOReader’s file browser. EPUB downloads are free, and WP Downloader is a web tool, so you do not need to install it.
Download the SquidgeWorld story
Open the story on squidgeworld.org and copy its address. A SquidgeWorld Archive story link looks like this:

Open the SquidgeWorld Downloader, paste the story link into the box, and choose EPUB as the output format. WP Downloader detects the site from the link. EPUB is free for everyone and opens in KOReader.
You can choose to include the story’s images. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after you sign in with Discord for free. KOReader opens both EPUB and PDF, but WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Members-only stories
You do not need to sign in for public SquidgeWorld stories. Signing in with your SquidgeWorld Archive account lets WP Downloader fetch members-only stories that your account can read.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, age restrictions, or other access limits.
SquidgeWorld support was ported from FanFicFare, the Apache-2.0 open-source fanfiction downloader.
Copy the EPUB to your device
After the download finishes, find the EPUB on your phone or computer. How you copy it depends on the device running KOReader.
Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the ereader to your computer with USB and copy the EPUB to the device as usual.
Open KOReader, find the EPUB in its file browser, and select it to start reading.

Android phone or tablet
Find the EPUB in your browser’s download folder. If you downloaded it elsewhere, copy it to your Android device using your usual file-transfer method.
Open KOReader, browse to the folder containing the EPUB, and select the story.
Jailbroken Kindle
KOReader runs on jailbroken Kindles. Installing KOReader or jailbreaking a Kindle is a separate, unofficial process and is not covered here.

Read the story offline
KOReader opens the EPUB stored on your device, so you can read the downloaded story offline.
WP Downloader does not add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. To get a newer version of an ongoing story, paste its SquidgeWorld link into WP Downloader and download it again.
