How to Read Stories of Arda Stories on a Flight

To read a Stories of Arda story during a flight, download it before you leave. WP Downloader can save the whole story as an EPUB or PDF. Put the file on the device you are taking and check that it opens in airplane mode.

Download the story before your flight

WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. You need an internet connection while downloading the story.

1. Open the Stories of Arda downloader.
2. Copy the story’s chapter list URL from storiesofarda.com. It should look like this:

EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. You do not need to sign in to Stories of Arda, and its stories are in English.

Choose a device and reading app

Once the EPUB or PDF is stored on your device, you can open it without an internet connection.

Download the EPUB to your phone or tablet and open it in an EPUB reader. If you choose PDF, use a PDF reader. Check that the file is stored on the device itself and opens before you lose internet access.

Turn on airplane mode and open the story again. This confirms that the app is using the downloaded file instead of a web page.

Kindle e-reader or Kindle app

Choose EPUB if you plan to use Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon accepts EPUB and PDF files. It converts EPUB files and adds the book to your Kindle library, where you can read it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.

You can send the file by email to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address, through the Send to Kindle app, or on the web. When sending by email, you must use an address on your approved sender list.

Send to Kindle needs an internet connection, so send the file before your flight. Wait for the story to appear in your Kindle library, then download it to the device before turning on airplane mode. Kobo

Download the story as an EPUB and add it to the Kobo you are taking. Finish the transfer and open the story on the Kobo before you leave.
