How to read a StoryRoom story in the Kindle app
To read a StoryRoom story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. You can then open it in the app on your phone or tablet.
What you need
Before you begin, you need:
- The StoryRoom story link
- An account on StoryRoom or Fine Stories
- The Kindle app on your phone or tablet
- Access to Amazon’s Send to Kindle service
A StoryRoom link usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the story as an EPUB
Open the StoryRoom downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect that the link is from StoryRoom.
You must sign in with an account on the site. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested and can download only the content your account is allowed to read. It does not bypass locked chapters, paywalls, or age restrictions.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
WP Downloader saves the whole story in one file. If the author adds chapters later, download the story again to create a new EPUB. WPD cannot update an existing EPUB.

Step 2: Send the EPUB to your Kindle library
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts EPUB files and converts them for the Kindle app and Kindle e-readers. You can send the file in three ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web
- Use the Send to Kindle app
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender address.
You do not need to convert the EPUB to MOBI or AZW3. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files, and Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files.

Step 3: Open the story in the Kindle app
After Amazon processes the EPUB, open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and check your library. The StoryRoom story will appear there as a book.
Open the book to start reading. You can return to it from your Kindle library without reopening the StoryRoom page.
Reading an updated version
If the author adds new chapters, return to WP Downloader and download the story again. Then send the new EPUB to your Kindle library.
The original EPUB will not update automatically. WP Downloader creates a fresh copy of the complete story each time you download it.

Can I download one StoryRoom chapter?
