How to read StoryRoom stories offline

To read a StoryRoom story offline, download it with WP Downloader and open the EPUB or PDF in a compatible reading app. You can use the same basic process on a phone, tablet, e-reader, or computer.

Download the StoryRoom story

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. Copy the link to the story you want to save. A StoryRoom URL looks like this:

Then:

1. Open the StoryRoom downloader.
2. Paste the StoryRoom story link into the box.
3. Sign in with your account on that site when prompted. StoryRoom downloads require an account.
4. Choose EPUB or PDF. EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the finished file to your device.

WP Downloader saves the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list from StoryRoom. It only retrieves material your account can already read and does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions. Your account credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested.

Read offline on a phone

Download the EPUB or PDF to your phone, then open it in an app that supports the format. Import or open an EPUB in an EPUB reading app. Open a PDF in a PDF reader.

Once the file is stored on your phone, you can read it without returning to StoryRoom. Keep the downloaded file if you want to move it to another device later.

Read offline on a tablet

The steps are similar on a tablet:

1. Download the StoryRoom story as an EPUB or PDF.
2. Find the file in your downloads or file storage.
3. Open it with a compatible ebook or PDF reading app.
4. Leave the file stored on the tablet for offline reading.

Read offline on an e-reader

Download the story as an EPUB, then transfer or send the file to your e-reader using one of the methods supported by your device.
