Read Sufficient Velocity stories in Google Play Books

To read a Sufficient Velocity story in Google Play Books, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and upload the file to Play Books. You can then read it on the Play Books website or in the Android, iPhone, and iPad apps.

Upload the EPUB to Google Play Books

Once the EPUB has downloaded, add it to your Google Play Books library. On the Play Books website, you can upload the file from your computer or Google Drive. The Play Books Android app can also upload EPUB files.

From a computer

1. Open the Google Play Books website.
2. Start an upload from your library.
3. Select the EPUB you downloaded with WP Downloader from your computer, or choose it from Google Drive.
4. Wait for Google Play Books to process the file.
5. Open the story from your Play Books library.

You can now read the story on the website or in the Play Books mobile apps.

From an Android device

1. Download the EPUB from WP Downloader to your device.
2. Open the Google Play Books app.
3. Upload the EPUB to your Play Books library.
4. Open the story from your library after the upload finishes.

If you downloaded the file on another device, place it in Google Drive and upload it through the Play Books website.

On an iPhone or iPad

Upload the EPUB through the Google Play Books website from a computer or Google Drive. Once Google has processed it, open the Play Books app on your iPhone or iPad and select the story from your library.

Get new chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. When the Sufficient Velocity thread gets new threadmarked chapters, download the story again to create a new EPUB.

Upload the new EPUB to Google Play Books as a separate file. It will not update the earlier copy.

Fix an upload problem

Check that the file is an EPUB or PDF. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Very large books can reach Google’s upload size limit. If that happens, return to WP Downloader, download the story without images, and try uploading the new copy.
