How to Read Sufficient Velocity Stories in the Kindle App
To read a Sufficient Velocity story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library.
WP Downloader is a free web tool, with nothing to install. It collects the threadmarked chapters from a story thread and puts them into one book.
Step 1: Copy the story link
Open the story thread on forums.sufficientvelocity.com and copy its URL. It should look similar to this:
https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/some-story-name.123456/Copy the main thread URL instead of a link to a specific post. WP Downloader downloads the complete story from Sufficient Velocity. It does not support individual chapters or lists for this site.
Step 2: Download the EPUB
Go to the Sufficient Velocity downloader and paste the thread link into the box. WP Downloader recognizes the site and collects the threadmarked chapters into one book.
Select EPUB as the format. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
You do not need to sign in for public stories. If a story is available only to members, you can sign in with your Sufficient Velocity account. WP Downloader can access only the stories and chapters that your account is allowed to read. It does not bypass paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions. Your account credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested.
PDF is also available with a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to Kindle
Send the downloaded EPUB to Amazon in one of three ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
- Share it through the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender address. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library.
Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files. Use the EPUB created by WP Downloader instead.

Step 4: Read the story in the Kindle app
Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and check your library. After Amazon converts the EPUB, the story will appear there.
Open the book to start reading. Its threadmarked chapters are collected in one EPUB, so you can read them without moving between forum posts.
The converted book can also appear in the Kindle library on a Kindle e-reader.
Downloading new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. When the author posts more threadmarked chapters, return to the Sufficient Velocity downloader and download the story again.
Send the new EPUB to your Kindle library using the same process.
