How to read TONFA stories in the Kindle app

You can read a story from TONFA: The Original Naruto Fanfic Archive in the Kindle app by downloading it as an EPUB with WP Downloader, then uploading the file through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library.

Download the TONFA story with WP Downloader

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install.

Find the story you want on narutofic.org. A TONFA story address looks like this:

Copy the story’s address, then:

1. Open the TONFA downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Wait while WP Downloader detects the archive and fetches the story.
4. Choose EPUB as the output format.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the EPUB.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after you sign in with Discord for free. Amazon accepts both EPUB and PDF through Send to Kindle, but this guide uses EPUB.

For TONFA, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download individual chapters or story lists.

You do not need a TONFA account for public stories. Signing in is optional and lets WP Downloader fetch members-only stories that your account can read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you request. WP Downloader cannot bypass access restrictions.

Add the EPUB to your Kindle library

You can send the EPUB to your Kindle library in any of these ways:

• Upload it on the Send to Kindle website.
• Add it through the Send to Kindle app.
• Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.

Files sent by email must come from an approved sender address.

Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You do not need to convert the file to MOBI or AZW3. WP Downloader does not create either format, and Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files.

Open the story in the Kindle app

After the book appears in your Kindle library:

1. Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet.
2. Go to your library.
3. Find the TONFA story.
4. Select the book to download and open it.
5. Start reading.

The original story remains on narutofic.org. Your Kindle copy comes from the EPUB you downloaded, so new chapters will not appear automatically. If the author posts more chapters, download the whole story again with WP Downloader and send the new EPUB to Kindle.
