How to Read a Wattpad Story on a tolino eReader
To read a Wattpad story on a tolino eReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to the Books folder on your tolino. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
What you need
Have these ready:
- The Wattpad story link
- A computer
- Your tolino eReader
- A USB-C cable
A Wattpad story link usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the Wattpad story as an EPUB
Open the Wattpad downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect that the link is from Wattpad and show the available download options.
Choose EPUB. It is free for everyone and works with tolino eReaders. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
You do not need an account for a public Wattpad story. For a paid story that your Wattpad account owns, sign in with that account. Signing in also lets you download stories from your Wattpad library and archive.
WP Downloader can only download stories that your account can already read. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions. Your account credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested.
Besides a complete Wattpad story, you can download:
- A single Wattpad part or chapter
- A complete Wattpad reading list
- Paid stories owned by your account
- Stories in your Wattpad library or archive

Step 2: Connect your tolino to the computer
Connect your tolino eReader to the computer with a USB-C cable. Wait for the computer to detect it before copying the book.
The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers, so they may appear as connected devices instead of removable drives. Open the tolino on your computer and find its Books folder.
Step 3: Copy the EPUB to the Books folder
Find the EPUB you downloaded and copy it into the Books folder on your tolino.
Leave the tolino connected until the transfer finishes. Do not unplug the USB-C cable while files are copying. You can disconnect the reader once the transfer is complete.
The story should now appear on your tolino, ready to read offline.
Getting new Wattpad chapters onto your tolino
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author publishes more chapters, return to the Wattpad downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new EPUB.
Copy the new file to your tolino using the same USB-C transfer steps. The new EPUB will contain the chapters that WP Downloader can access when you download it.
Listening to the story instead
After you paste a link to a single Wattpad story into WP Downloader, a “Listen to audiobook” button appears. The button opens Audora, WP Downloader’s sister service, which turns the story into an audiobook.
The button is only available for single Wattpad stories. It does not appear for reading lists or stories from other sites.
