How to read a Whofic story on Android
You can read stories from A Teaspoon And An Open Mind, also known as Whofic, on an Android phone or tablet. Use WP Downloader to save the story as an EPUB or PDF, then open the file in a reading app. EPUB is free for everyone and works with several Android readers.
Download the Whofic story
Find the story you want on whofic.com. Its address should look like this:

- Open the Whofic Downloader.
- Paste the story link into the box.
- Wait for WP Downloader to detect the site and fetch the story.
- Choose EPUB, or choose PDF after signing in with a free Discord account.
- Turn on the image option if you want to include the story’s images.
- Download the file to your device.
You do not need a Whofic account. WP Downloader downloads the complete story from Whofic. It cannot download an individual chapter or a list of stories from the site.

Open the EPUB on Android
Google Play Books and Moon+ Reader can both open EPUB files on Android.
Read with Google Play Books
Google Play Books lets you upload your own DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. You can then read them on Android, iPhone, iPad, or the web.
Upload the Whofic EPUB from the Google Play Books Android app. You can also use the Play Books website to upload it from your computer or Google Drive, then read it on your Android device.
Very large stories may reach Google’s upload size limit. If an EPUB will not upload, try opening it in Moon+ Reader instead.
Read with Moon+ Reader
Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files stored on an Android device. It also has a built-in text-to-speech mode for reading the story aloud.
Open a PDF on Android
PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in. Once you have downloaded the PDF, you can upload it to Google Play Books and read it on your Android device.
Listen to the story on Android
You can have a downloaded EPUB read aloud in several ways:
- Open it in Moon+ Reader and use the built-in text-to-speech mode.
- Open it in @Voice Aloud Reader.
- Turn on Select to Speak in Settings, then Accessibility, and tap items on the screen to hear them read.
All three options use the text-to-speech voices installed on your device, so the available voices determine how natural the narration sounds.
Get new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the Whofic author adds chapters, return to the Whofic Downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.

Do I need a Whofic account?
No. WP Downloader can download Whofic stories without a Whofic sign-in.
Should I choose EPUB or PDF for Android?
EPUB is free for everyone and opens in Google Play Books and Moon+ Reader. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in and can also be uploaded to Google Play Books.
Can I download one Whofic chapter?
No. WP Downloader downloads complete Whofic stories. It does not download individual chapters or story lists from this archive.
Can Android read the story aloud?
Yes. You can use Moon+ Reader, @Voice Aloud Reader, or Android’s Select to Speak feature. Each option uses the text-to-speech voices installed on your device.
Will my downloaded EPUB update automatically?
No. To get chapters added after your original download, paste the Whofic story link into WP Downloader again and download a new EPUB.
