How to Read Whofic Stories on a PocketBook E-Reader

To read a story from A Teaspoon And An Open Mind, also known as Whofic, on a PocketBook e-reader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and transfer the file to your device. PocketBook reads EPUB files directly, so you do not need to convert the story.

Download a Whofic story with WP Downloader

WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. It downloads the complete Whofic story as an e-book that you can keep for offline reading.

1. Open the Whofic downloader.

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook

Send-to-PocketBook lets you email the EPUB to your e-reader. You must activate the service on your PocketBook before you use it for the first time.

Set up Send-to-PocketBook

On your PocketBook:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Accounts and synchronization.
3. Select Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and complete the activation process.
5. Open the activation email.

After activation, you will receive a personal Send-to-PocketBook email address ending in @pbsync.com.

Email and sync the story

Attach the Whofic EPUB to an email and send it to your personal @pbsync.com address. Sync your PocketBook to receive the file.

If the file does not arrive, check whether the email address you sent it from is on the approved list. The service may ask you to whitelist that address before accepting the attachment.

When the sync is complete, open the EPUB on your PocketBook.

Transfer the story over USB

You can also copy the EPUB from a computer over USB. This works if you prefer not to set up Send-to-PocketBook or the emailed file has not arrived.

1. Download the Whofic story as an EPUB on your computer.
2. Connect the PocketBook to the computer with USB.
3. Copy the EPUB file to the e-reader.
4. Disconnect the device after the transfer finishes.
5. Find the story on the PocketBook and open it.

The EPUB stays on the device, allowing you to continue reading offline.

Get newer chapters

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author updates the story, return to the Whofic downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.

Transfer the new EPUB to your PocketBook using Send-to-PocketBook or USB.
