How to Send a Lumos Story to Kindle
To read a Lumos story on Kindle, first download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then upload the file through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library, where it is available on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app.
Step 1: Copy the Lumos story link
Open the story on lumos.sycophanthex.com and copy its address from your browser. A Lumos story link looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Lumos downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install.
Select EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and accepted by Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
Download and save the EPUB. WP Downloader handles whole Lumos stories, not individual chapters or lists of stories. You do not need a Lumos account.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to Kindle
Amazon lets you send an EPUB to your Kindle library on the web, through the Send to Kindle app, or by email.
Use Send to Kindle on the web
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle page in your browser, select the EPUB you downloaded, and follow the prompts to submit it. After Amazon processes the file, the story appears in your Kindle library.
Use the Send to Kindle app
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle app and select the downloaded EPUB. Follow the steps in the app to add it to your Kindle library.
You do not need to convert the file yourself. Amazon accepts the EPUB and converts it for Kindle.
Send it by email
Attach the EPUB to an email and send it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
You must send the message from an email address approved for your Amazon account. Amazon will not accept the file from an unapproved address. You can check your Amazon Kindle settings for your Send-to-Kindle address and approved sender emails.

Step 4: Open the story on your Kindle
Once Amazon has converted the EPUB, open your Kindle library on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app. Select the book to start reading.

Downloading new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. If the Lumos story is updated, return to the Lumos downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new EPUB. Send the new file to Kindle using any of the same methods.

Yes. Amazon accepts EPUB files through Send to Kindle and converts them for your Kindle library.
Do I need a Lumos account?
No. WP Downloader does not require you to sign in to download a Lumos story.
Can WP Downloader make a MOBI file?
No. WP Downloader creates EPUB files for everyone and PDF files with a free Discord sign-in. It does not create MOBI or AZW3 files. Amazon no longer accepts MOBI through Send to Kindle, so use EPUB instead.
Can I send the story to the Kindle app?
