How to listen to stck.me stories with text-to-speech
To listen to a stck.me story, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader, open the file in a reading app, and use the app or device’s text-to-speech feature. The steps vary depending on your device.
Download the stck.me story

Listen on an iPhone or iPad
Apple’s Speak Screen accessibility feature can read an EPUB aloud in Apple Books.
Open the downloaded EPUB in Apple Books, then turn on Speak Screen:
- Open Settings.
- Select Accessibility.
- Select Spoken Content.
- Turn on Speak Screen.
Return to the EPUB and swipe down with two fingers from the top of the screen to hear it read aloud.

Thorium Reader and calibre can read EPUB files aloud on a computer.
Use Thorium Reader
Thorium Reader is free and available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Open the downloaded stck.me EPUB in Thorium Reader and start its read-aloud feature.
Thorium uses the text-to-speech voices installed on your computer.
Use calibre
calibre is a free desktop app with an e-book viewer. Add or open the EPUB in calibre, open it in the e-book viewer, and select Read aloud.

Listen to new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. When the author publishes more chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
