How to Read Dokuga Stories in the Kindle App

To read a Dokuga story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.

Step 1: Copy the Dokuga story link

Open the story on dokuga.com and copy its URL. A Dokuga story link looks like this:

http://www.dokuga.com/fanfiction/story/1234/1

WP Downloader downloads the whole story. You do not need to collect or paste a link for each chapter.

You can sign in with your Dokuga account if the story is available only to members. WP Downloader uses your account details only to fetch the story you requested and can download only content your account is allowed to read. It cannot bypass members-only access, age restrictions, or other locked content.

Step 2: Download the story as an EPUB

Open the Dokuga downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect that the link comes from Dokuga.

Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free, and Amazon accepts EPUB files through Send to Kindle. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.

PDF is available too, but downloading one requires a free Discord sign-in. EPUB works well for this guide because Amazon converts the file before adding the book to your Kindle library.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. You do not need a MOBI file because Send to Kindle no longer accepts that format.

See how to download Dokuga stories for more help with the download process.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to your Kindle library

Once you have downloaded the EPUB, send it to Amazon in any of these ways:

  • Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
  • Share it through the Send to Kindle app.
  • Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.

Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and PDF files. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library, making it available in the Kindle app and on Kindle e-readers.

Files sent by email must come from an approved sender email address. Amazon will reject messages from addresses that have not been approved.

The Send to Kindle guide explains each method. You can also read the guide to sending Dokuga stories to Kindle.

Step 4: Open the story in the Kindle app

Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and go to your library. After Amazon converts and adds the EPUB, tap the story to begin reading.

The story will appear as a book instead of a series of Dokuga web pages. It can also appear on Kindle e-readers connected to the same Kindle library.

When the Dokuga story gets new chapters

WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you downloaded earlier. When the author updates the story, return to the Dokuga downloader, paste the link again, and download a new copy.

Send the new EPUB to your Kindle library using the same process. It will contain the whole story that your account can read when you request the download.

Can I send a MOBI file to Kindle instead?

No. WP Downloader does not create MOBI files, and Amazon no longer accepts them through Send to Kindle.

Will my EPUB update when the Dokuga story changes?
