Download a MuggleNet story with WP Downloader

WP Downloader is a free web tool that requires no installation. It can download a complete story from mugglenetfanfiction.com as an EPUB for offline reading.

Find the story on MuggleNet Fan Fiction and copy its story page URL. It should look like this:

Copy the story page URL, not the URL for an individual chapter. WP Downloader downloads complete MuggleNet Fan Fiction stories, not single chapters or lists.

1. Open the MuggleNet story downloader.
2. Paste the story URL into the download box.
3. Choose EPUB.
4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
5. Start the download and save the EPUB to your phone or computer.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. You can also download a PDF after signing in with Discord for free. PocketBook supports both formats, though EPUB is the usual choice for an ebook.

You do not need a MuggleNet Fan Fiction account for public stories. If a story is restricted to members, you can sign in with an account that already has access to it. Send the EPUB to PocketBook by email

Send-to-PocketBook gives your e-reader its own email address. You can email the EPUB to that address and receive it when you sync the reader.

Set up Send-to-PocketBook

On your PocketBook e-reader:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Accounts and synchronization.
3. Open Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and complete the activation process.
5. Open the activation email you receive.

After activation, you will have a personal Send-to-PocketBook address ending in @pbsync.com.

Email and sync the book

Attach the MuggleNet EPUB to an email and send it to your @pbsync.com address. Sync your PocketBook to receive the file.

If the book does not arrive, check whether your sending email address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address before accepting its attachments. Once the address is approved, send the EPUB again and sync the reader.

Transfer the story with USB

You can also copy the book from a computer over USB. This works if you prefer not to set up Send-to-PocketBook or cannot receive the emailed file.

Download the EPUB to your computer, connect the PocketBook with a USB cable, and copy the file to the reader. Disconnect the device when the transfer finishes, then open the story from your PocketBook library.

You can transfer a PDF the same way. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in, while EPUB downloads are available to everyone.

Download new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB already on your PocketBook. If the author publishes more chapters, return to the MuggleNet downloader and download the complete story again.

Transfer the new file with Send-to-PocketBook or USB.
