What the PDF contains
SpaceBattles stories are published as forum threads. WP Downloader uses the threadmarks to find the story chapters, leaving out ordinary discussion, and combines those chapters into one PDF. You can also include images from the story.
SpaceBattles downloads cover whole stories. You cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories. When an author adds new threadmarked chapters, download the story again to get them. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing file.
For an ebook app, try the SpaceBattles to EPUB converter. EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not produce MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
SpaceBattles support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0.
SpaceBattles and Discord sign-ins
You do not need a SpaceBattles account. Paste the public thread URL into WP Downloader and choose a format.
Discord sign-in is required only for PDF downloads. It does not sign you in to SpaceBattles. Choose EPUB if you do not want to sign in with Discord.
WP Downloader can download only the threadmarked content available to it. It does not bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
