WP Downloader turns the threadmarked chapters from an AlternateHistory.com story into a single PDF. It is free to use in your browser, and there is nothing to install.
Download an AlternateHistory.com story as a PDF

https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/some-story-name.123456/. - Paste the link into the download box above.
- Select PDF as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Sign in with Discord when prompted. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.
- Start the download and save the PDF to your device.
You can also paste the link into the main AlternateHistory.com downloader. WP Downloader will detect the site from the URL.
What’s included in the PDF
The PDF contains the story’s threadmarked chapters in one book. AlternateHistory.com publishes stories as forum threads, so WP Downloader uses the threadmarks to find the chapter posts.
Only whole stories can be downloaded from this site. Individual chapters and lists of stories are not supported. If the author adds more threadmarked chapters, download the story again to get a new copy with the latest chapters. WP Downloader cannot update an existing file.
For an ebook that adjusts to different screen sizes, use the AlternateHistory.com to EPUB converter. EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
AlternateHistory.com support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. The supported sites page lists the other compatible fiction archives.
Signing in to AlternateHistory.com
You do not need an AlternateHistory.com account for public stories. If a story is limited to forum members, you can sign in with an account that has permission to read it.
WP Downloader uses your AlternateHistory.com credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only what your account can already read and does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
The AlternateHistory.com sign-in is separate from the Discord sign-in used to create PDFs. See the help guides for help with downloads or account access.
