What you get
The download contains the whole story as a PDF for reading later. WP Downloader does not support individual chapters or story lists from Command Dynamics.
PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in. You can also choose EPUB, which is free for everyone and does not require Discord. The Command Dynamics to EPUB guide explains that option.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. It cannot add new chapters to a PDF or EPUB you have already downloaded. Submit the story link again to download the current version.
Command Dynamics support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader. The full supported sites list covers the other available archives.
Signing in
You do not need a Command Dynamics account for public stories. For a members-only story, you can sign in with your account on the site. WP Downloader can download the story only if that account already has permission to read it.
Your site credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader cannot bypass members-only restrictions, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
The two sign-ins have separate purposes. Your Command Dynamics account provides access to members-only stories you can already read, while Discord sign-in is required to create a PDF.
